Voodoo Monkeys were born in 2013, when five friends decided to enter the rehearsal room and started playing songs they love most, each member with his own musical tastes, but all united by rock music passion. In 2018 they decide to put on a live show in which to trace the history of rock'n'roll music from punk to rock, from hard rock to heavy metal: Ramones, The Clash, David Bowie, Billy Idol, Motorhead, Lenny Kravitz, ZZtop, Eurithmics, Guns'n'Roses, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer and others, famous bands entered in the legend of rock'n'roll music and in the collective imagination, played in a punk/rock mood. A mix of influences that on the stage leads to a party in which all the great figures of rock music symbolically participate. In November 2022 we were the first and only band invited to travel and participate in the UG Rock Festival in Kampala (Uganda) and we were invited again for the 2023 edition.
