ITA: I “The Ides of March” nascono come realtà innovativa nella scena dei tributi italiani agli Iron Maiden. La band venne fondata a Marzo del 2019 a Milano in corrispondenza delle “Idi di Marzo”. Il nome The Ides of March è legato sia al mese di fondazione della band che alla prima canzone dell’album “Killers”. Il logo della band è un Eddie nelle sembianze di un centurione romano che sovrasta il Duomo di Milano. L’idea dei The Ides of March è quella di offrire uno nuovo concetto di Iron Maiden show a 360 gradi con lo scopo di di appassionare e stupire chiunque assista allo spettacolo indipendentemente dall’età e background musicale. Inoltre, i The Ides of March offrono, nel proprio repertorio, sia brani più mainstream che brani più ricercati. In aggiunta vengono introdotti vari elementi scenici quali video, costumi e maschere di scena, ecc. I The Ides of March performano in diversi importanti locali e motoraduni in Lombardia e zone limitrofe. I The Ides of March sono i vincitori del Contest 2021 per Tribute Band del Rock on the Road di Desio. ENG: “The Ides of March” were created as innovative concept within the scene of Italian tribute bands to Iron Maiden. The band was founded on March 2019 in Milan – Italy, during the period of the month corresponding to the “Ides of March”. Therefore, the name of the Band is inspired both to the month of foundation as well as the first track of the album “Killers”. The band logo is an Eddie assuming the features of a Roman centurion and overlooking the Milan Cathedral. The idea behind The Ides of March is to provide a 360-degree Iron Maiden new concept show, which aims at involving and impress people in the audience, independently from their age or music background. In addition, The Ides of March offer a wide variety of songs in their repertoire, from mainstream to rare hits. Moreover, several stage effects such as videos, costumes, etc. are added to the show. The Ides of March perform in several important locations and Biker events in Lombardy and surroundings. The Ides of March are the winners of the 2021 Tribute Band Desio Rock on the Road Contest.
